Privacy Policy

PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains the information that may be processed when you use ImmunizationRecord.org and the choices available to you.

Do not send us medical records or identity documents. This website cannot retrieve or store your immunization record. Submit sensitive information only through the secure method provided by the official registry, provider, pharmacy, school, or agency handling your request.

Scope

This policy applies to ImmunizationRecord.org. It does not apply to government, provider, pharmacy, advertising, analytics, or other third-party websites linked from our pages. Those services have their own privacy policies.

Information you provide

You can read the site without creating an account. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message so we can review or respond to it. Please do not include vaccination cards, medical records, Social Security numbers, photo identification, insurance information, or other sensitive personal information.

Information processed automatically

Like most websites, our hosting, security, analytics, and advertising services may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP address, referring page, pages visited, timestamps, and interactions with the site. Server logs may also be created for security, troubleshooting, and site operation.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The site uses Google services, including Google tags and advertising technology. These services may use cookies or similar technologies to measure traffic, prevent fraud, limit repeated ads, and personalize or measure advertising, depending on your region and consent choices. Google Funding Choices may display a consent message where required.

Google and its partners may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and manage ad preferences through Google My Ad Center.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect site or advertising features. A browser “Do Not Track” signal is not a universal opt-out because websites and service providers do not interpret it consistently.

How information is used

  • To deliver, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
  • To understand site traffic and improve content.
  • To display, measure, and protect advertising.
  • To respond to emails and correction reports.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

Sharing and service providers

Technical data may be processed by companies that provide hosting, content delivery, security, analytics, consent management, advertising, and email services. We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define personalized advertising or related cookie activity as “sharing” or “selling” even when no money is exchanged for the data. Where required, use the consent controls shown on the site or contact us to exercise an applicable opt-out right.

Data retention and security

Service providers retain data according to their settings and policies. We keep correspondence and operational records only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which they were collected, security, recordkeeping, or legal obligations. We use HTTPS and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about certain processing, and to opt out of some targeted advertising or data sharing. These rights have legal exceptions and may require identity verification. Email privacy@immunizationrecord.org with your request and country or U.S. state. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Children

The site is written for adults seeking information for themselves or people in their care. We do not knowingly ask children under 13 to provide personal information. If you believe a child sent personal information to us, contact privacy@immunizationrecord.org.

Health information

ImmunizationRecord.org is an informational publisher, not a healthcare provider, health plan, clearinghouse, or patient portal. Do not use our email addresses to send protected health information or request changes to an official record. Contact the organization that holds the record through its published secure channel.

Policy changes

We may update this policy when the site’s services or legal obligations change. The effective date below will be changed when a material update is published.
